We collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the App:

a) Information You Provide Directly

• Account registration: When you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user identifier from that provider.
• Profile information: Display name, profile picture URL, and handle you choose to set.
• User-generated content: Comments, replies, anime ratings, episode ratings, recommendations, and custom list names you create inside the App.

b) Information Collected Automatically

• Watch history: Which episodes and series you mark as watched.
• App interactions: Features used, pages viewed, and tap events — collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the App.
• Crash reports: Crash logs and diagnostic data collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.

c) Information from Third-Party Sign-In

• Google Sign-In: We receive your Google account name, email address, and profile picture URL. We do not receive your Google password.
• Apple Sign-In: We receive the name and email address you choose to share (Apple allows you to hide your email). We do not receive any Apple account credentials.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
• Send push notifications about new episodes or news (only if you grant permission).
• Personalise your experience, such as remembering your preferences and watched episodes.
• Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Show you advertisements through Google AdMob.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.

• If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify you.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 11 and we will delete it promptly.

10. Terms of Use

By downloading and using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Not use the App to upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.
• Not circumvent or interfere with any security or access-control features of the App.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you via a push notification or in-app announcement. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
